It was horrible here the last time when it was so packed and loud. Hopefully it will be nice and quiet today. I very much doubt it. My children repeated what I'd said the previous time because they had learned that I heard my shark music in an overcrowded pool. Equally, imagine the opportunities that could be unlocked if we could also embrace being a teacher for others, sharing our own expertise and wisdom with confidence, knowing that it's the mutual exchange of value and smarts that will drive innovation, ideation, problem solving and ultimately momentum for each other. You practise through the acquisition of skills, qualifications, study, knowledge, on-the-job experience, conversations you're part of, the work you do well and the work you suck at. Your 10 000 hours are unique to you. You've got a certain set of skills, knowledge and experience that makes you an asset. Have you heard of The Picasso Principle? Accepting the Reality and Changing Yourself Upon learning that I had cancer, I was depressed for nearly a month.

My mind was cluttered, thinking that I would soon leave this world. I didn't know whether anyone would remember me after my death. In other words, I simply couldn't accept reality. In a quiet street you're likely to be woken by a sudden, unexpected noise - such as the roar of a lone car, the screech of a siren, or the bark of a dog.
