In general, an improved lifestyle involves changing behaviors and habits, which can potentially harm one's mind and health. In one's skills will help individuals develop managerial and leadership skills. Knowledge of techniques to help in reducing or releasing stress levels. The ability to listen and grasp essential facts effectively. Skills required to be able to work with, or otherwise, a team at work. NLP allows individuals to form groups, maintain and manage teams, and lead teams. They are achieving different goals and objectives in life. These programs, too, will help individuals set up their own goals and objectives (both long-term and short-term), meet their goals and performance goals. NLP programs will enable individuals to identify people's natural learning styles. Hence the trends outlined appear to be rather reliable descriptions of at least one aspect of the therapeutic process. That these trends are related to therapeutic success is suggested by the fact that an index of these trends correlated . Still another aspect which has been studied is the type of attitude expressed. It was observed that while the client, at the outset of therapy, seemed to voice mostly negative feelings, there appeared to be a change in a positive direction. This seemed to be true even though the attitudes might be concerned with himself, with others, or even with his physical environment. Both Snyder and Seeman studied this question and the research results confirmed the clinical impression, adding one significant new facet related to the tense (present or past) of the expression. In general it may be said that the evidence (See Table I for details) shows that, while negative attitudes predominate in the early phases of therapy, the balance shifts as the process continues and positive attitudes come to slightly exceed the negative. But when the study is limited to the current feelings of the client -- those expressed in the present tense -- the trend is found to be much more marked. A crude approximation to the findings would be to say that current feelings are one-third positive and two-thirds negative during the first fifth of therapy; Table I * Type of Client Material Presented

Put it in place before a week passes. Your awareness of a crosscurrent often surfaces when you tune in to your Body Sensations Current. Perhaps your pattern is to scatter your cash in multiple pockets in various outfits, then forget to empty them. You have money or think you do; Or perhaps you may scatter your money in the various compartments of your wallet and/or purse, or in multiple accounts whose statements you seem to lose. At any point in time you cannot count your money and know what you have available to spend, to save and earn interest, or to purchase an asset that grows in value. This is a classic crosscurrent stalling energy toward creating abundance. Action Step Let's look for things that are out of alignment. There are other ways of describing the changes which take place in the verbal material which the client expresses during the course of therapy. Several may be mentioned which have not yet been put to an objective test. Clinically it seems clear that there is movement from symptoms to self. The client's exploration revolves first around the various aspects of the problem, but gradually the concern is more and more with self. What kind of person am I? What are my real feelings? What is my real self? An increasing amount of the conversation centers around these topics. Not only is there movement from symptoms to self, but from environment to self and from others to self. That is, the client verbally manipulates his situation, devoting a considerable portion of his time to a consideration of the nonself elements as well as those within himself. Release old papers and odd bits of things that are there, gather and arrange the paper money, and reduce the number of coins that you carry. Do the same for your vehicle. Locate your checkarticle and any bank statements. Reconcile your accounts. Put on some music, create a lovely atmosphere with a pleasant aroma, and shift into enjoying this process. As you consider crosscurrents and engage your Creative, Body Sensations, and Rational currents, you may recognize other areas where you are not reaching your destination. Each of these reveals a series of flows where you are unaware of what is really happening, where the flow that appears on the surface is not what really happens in your life. You will find yourself reconsidering your intentions about creating financial abundance. Underwater Intentions Your intentions are always engaged and working, even if you have never paid any attention to them.

And, if we know that, then we can listen to what people are saying, and we can tell them what their favorite communication medium is. Use their ideal communication system back to them; Therefore, for this, we will use the words and phrases they use. Have you ever found that people like them? Have you got common interests with your friends? That's how it does work. Each time you talk to them, try this out. Look up and down their necks as they breathe in and out, then copy them. And, as they breathe in, you breathe in, you breathe out. See how that gives them an implicit connection. But gradually he explores himself almost to the exclusion of the nonself. This seems to be due in part to the fact that the therapist's focus is upon his feelings, perceptions, evaluations -- in other words upon himself. It is also due to the fact that he senses that the self elements are the aspects of the situation which potentially are most certainly within his control. It is also because he senses that if he were unified and clear within himself as to his purposes and goals, he could deal with some success with the external aspects of his problem. Another trend in the content of the conversation is from material which has always been available in awareness, to material which until therapy has not been available to conscious consideration. Of this we shall have more to say presently. Still another change in material is from past to present. It may not be correct to say that there is a steady progression in this respect, since early interviews are often concerned with present problems. In the consideration of any particular conflict or relationship, especially if it is threatening or painful, the client tends to begin with some past aspect and only gradually faces the more crucial and often unpleasant issue as it exists in the present. Thus therapy ends with the person dealing with himself -- his attitudes, emotions, values, goals -- as they currently exist.

Your below-the-surface, underwater, or unconscious intentions are always flowing. You become aware of them by taking a look at the results in your life. Your current results reveal your underwater intentions, and you can begin to change your results by setting new intentions. It's okay to be shocked and disagree with me! I did that too when I first encountered this information. If you have not paid much attention to your prior intentions, then just let go of any ideas or judgments about your past. Embrace it--it happened just the way it did. In fact, call it good and consider it as water under the bridge. From today forward, include setting an intention as part of your daily life. Here is an interesting underwater intention that I watched surface. They won't know what you've done, but they're going to feel more associated with them, and they're going to like you more subconsciously. The birth of all of our imagination is how we cope with the fear, how we understand the influences, learn from them, create from them.
