You've already done it a thousand times, even if you weren't aware of it at times when you did it like all of us. If the anchor was not working, simply retrace the three above steps, identify what was missing, and re-do it. This time do even better The notion of logical rates refers to the fact that specific processes and phenomena are produced by the interaction between other processes and events. Every operating system is a sub-system embedded within another system, embedded within another system, and so forth. This kind of system-to-system relationship produces different process levels, according to the order in which one works. The brain structure, language, and social structures are all-natural hierarchies or process levels. Consider an automobile change rate, or speed automotive, as a simple example. Speed is a feature of how much ground the vehicle can reach (eg, 10 miles per hour) in a given period of time. So the rate is the distance-time relationship. Some sort of emotional complication that I'm terribly afraid I can't handle. Here it is clear that client and therapist are both perceiving the situation in the same way, and the sense of working together in the relationship is definitely more evident. It is probably a rather frequent experience for at least some of the therapist's responses to be regarded as an interruption. Clinical experience would give two reasons for occasional responses, however. In the first place, the quick objection of the client to an inaccurate reflection of attitude is some evidence of the meaning that understanding has for him. He has come to accept it rather casually, but if it falters he is at once aware of this fact. The other reason for avoiding silence is that it can facilitate projection and transference. If the therapist has shown by his words, as well as by his attitudes and behavior, his understanding and acceptance of the painful attitudes being explored, then that fact is carried away in the memory and is difficult to distort. If the therapist has maintained silence, however, then it is easier for the client, in the period after the interview, to project meaning into that silence. The therapist may have been approving, disapproving, contemptuous, bored -- the client's needs make it easy to project in this fashion, when there is little evidence to go on.

Worry is something that the Rational Current does very well. Worry begins with judging something that happens in our life as bad. We may have a thought that something will happen with our money out in the future, and we judge it as bad. Then we heap on more and more thoughts that increase our worry, and our sense that This is really bad increases. When we worry, there is no space between our thoughts. They just jam up against one another. We spin ourselves in a downward spiral of more and more negative thoughts and sensations so that the negative energy repels people and things. Worry especially repels money. We feel so bad that we contract and freeze ourselves, unable to take positive action steps, unable to complete tasks or to climb out of the pit we are in. Worriers also breathe shallowly, which causes a buildup of carbon dioxide in the blood that leads to feelings of anxiety. It can be said that the speed of the car moving from the garage to the highway is different from that of a car, house, road, or clock as it is a product of the relationship between them (and is not without them). Likewise, a company's profitability is at a level different from that company's machinery; The NLP Model of Neuro-Logical Levels The current model of Neuro-Logical Levels adds yet another level. There are six different levels, parallel to those identified by Bateson, which influence and form our relationships and interactions in the world according to the model: Spiritual Vision & Intent for Whom? Because what? Who Am I-Permission to Identification & Motivation Who? My Belief System -Mission Principles and Meanings Why? My Capacities-Maps & Projects Policies and States How? What I do or do Done-Specific Acts & Reactions What?

When I came to the interview, I also brought a resolution not to look for the exciting experience of the first interview. At first it was a little difficult to keep from casting longing glances in that direction, but as I got more absorbed in expression of my immediate feelings, it faded into the background. And although the interview ended without any repetition of that prized experience there was none of the discouragement and despair and confusion that I felt before. Instead I felt as if I were getting somewhere -- had something to get my teeth into now, and it was a great nuisance that the interview should end at that point. Afterwards, I thought of all kinds of things I would like to talk about the next time I see you. I've forgotten most of them now, and it's quite exasperating, but I'm not terribly worried. I'm beginning to feel a bit like Mr Micawber -- Something will turn up. I didn't make any attempt to get at this writing immediately after the interview. I was surfeited with myself and my problems and didn't feel that I could even see them if I tried to. So I just obeyed that impulse and went for a ride and otherwise enjoyed myself until the following evening. And so it goes. Action Step You stop the worry cycle by tuning in and recognizing that you are worrying, acknowledging that you are just imagining the worst that could happen. Then take a few deep breaths so you can begin to oxygenate your blood and brain and create some new and more positive thoughts. Creative movement when you realize you are worrying shifts your vibration and begins a new flow of energy, as does the Quieting Your Mind Process. It starts with pondering What will you do with that information? It stops the flow and allows some air and space between the automatic responses. Few of us spend any time wondering what the payoff is to a line of questioning. We have heard and experienced a particular flow of questions, and we simply use them again, engaging our Rational Current's storehouse. Here the idea is to stop the familiar pattern and open up, to get our creative juices flowing, to pair the Rational Current with the Creative Current so some new thoughts can emerge.

My climate-constraints & opportunities in the external sense where? The most basic level of influence on our relationships and experiences is the social environment, ie, when and where the structure or company activities and connections take place. Environmental factors decide the context and constraints that humans work under. For example, the atmosphere of a company is composed of things like the geographical locations of its activities, the buildings, and facilities that characterize the workplace, office and factory design, etc Besides the effect that these environmental factors can have on individuals within the organization, the influence and results that people within an organization have on their community and what goods or innovations they bring to the world can also be examined. At another point, we may analyze a group or individual's particular behaviors and actions-- that is, what the person or organization is doing within the community. What are the primary job, contact, or communication patterns? In terms of general procedures, habits can be described at an organizational level. At the individual level, behaviors take the form of specific work patterns, work habits, or activities related to the job. Another level of the process involves the techniques, skills, and capabilities by which the company or person selects and guides activities within their environment-- that is, how they produce and guide their behaviors within a specific context. Capabilities include cognitive strategies and skills for a person, such as learning, memory, decision making, and imagination, which promote the success of a particular behavior or function. After looking at myself for so long, it's very refreshing to look around outside. Of course I find me very interesting, but I get awfully fed up with such a limited subject after a while. Perhaps the interviews do regularly work that way to some extent? The exclusive double focus on self produces satiety, so that the environment looks pleasant and refreshing for a change. One commonly escapes from the environment into the self, but now the procedure is reversed, and the environment is seen in a new light as satisfying a positive need. There's a primitive sort of acceptance of the environment. Written after the Fourth Interview It appeared to the counselor that Miss Cam arrived at some fresh insights into certain aspects of her behavior in the fourth interview. He would not, however, have guessed the depth of excitement which accompanied this experience. Golly, golly, golly, I feel wonderful!

Asking the open-ended question What happened? You begin to unwind from the contracted response that led you to the bottom of the pit you spiraled into. What happened? Once you open up and notice your prior responses, sort through them, experience them to their fullest extent, and complete the cycle, then you can entertain the questions What do you want? How would you like it to be? You then engage both your Rational and Creative currents so you can imagine taking steps toward something better than what you currently have happening. Practical Uses Your Rational Current is great at analyzing, making lists, and reminding you to do things. Allow it to team with your other currents to remind you to breathe abundantly and fully, move creatively, create and repeat your affirmations, schedule a time to create a collage, meditate, feel gratitude, and read uplifting materials when you are finding your vibration at the lower levels. Invite your Rational Current to team with your Creative Current to actually do the various Action Steps, the Penny Dance, the feng shui sketches, streamlining, and feng shui cures. On an organizational level, the capabilities are linked to the infrastructures available to support communication, creativity, planning, and decision-making among organization members. These other levels of the process are influenced by values and beliefs, which provide the motivation and guidance behind the strategies and capabilities used to achieve environmental, behavioral outcomes achieve behavioral outcomes in the environment--that is, why people do things the way they do them in a given Time and Place. Our values and beliefs affirm that (motivation and permission) promote or prevent particular skills and behaviors. Values and beliefs decide the significance given to events and are at the center of decision and culture. Values and beliefs help the sense of identity of the individual or organization, that is, the one behind the why, how, what, where, and when. Processes at the identity level include the sense of role and mission of people regarding their vision and the broader structures they are part of. Identity can be seen as composed of two complementary aspects: the soul and the ego. The ego is geared towards life, approval, and motivation. The soul is intent, committed, and goal-focused. When these two forces are aligned, charisma, passion, and presence naturally emerge.
